Supportive Housing

HOPE’s Supportive Housing model combines the independence of our affordable homes with the 24 hour support of onsite staff that will be available to provide assistance with daily living activities as needed. Supportive housing includes multi-family homes and permanent housing models. Our locations provide convenient access to transportation, amenities, and services.

HOPE’s Supportive Housing currently includes six properties with 25 units total, serving 36 clients. These properties are located in Long Beach on Daisy Ave., Banner Dr., Redondo Ave., and Clark Ave and in Pasadena off of Fair Oaks Ave.

The Daisy Avenue and Banner Drive properties each house 8 individuals with a spare unit set aside for service provision employees or Supported Living Staff (SLS). Daisy Avenue units include an office for SLS staff through California Mentor and in partnership with Long Beach Community Investment Company (LBCIC).

Clark Avenue housing, located in the Lakewood Village neighborhood of Long Beach is home to six people with developmental disabilities moving out of less-independent settings.

Our Redondo Avenue units are located in a coastal community and include an office for SLS staff who are onsite during office hours through Ambitions CA and in partnership with Long Beach Community Investment Company (LBCIC).

Our newest supportive housing property is five units of housing in the City of Pasadena off of Fair Oaks where services will be provided by Villa Esperanza Services.

DESCRIPTION

HOPE Supportive Housing provides residents with individual units and access to broader supported living services from staff working out of dedicated, on-site offices. This model is designed for people who are interested in moving from more restrictive housing models, such as 24-hour residential care homes, institutions, or hospitalized settings, or who are transitioning out of living in a parent’s home.
